!!! UNKNOWN HEADER TYPE (MULTI-LINE BREAK?) !!!
UPDATE :
The content was a bit lacking so I took a new photo (the first one was the other day) : My former boss who is now a farmer delivering potatoes and onions from his Fiat Fullback (and my A3 in the back) :

You’re not even going to tell us about that E30?

I can’t help but think this may get confusing for some.
The Vauxhall Corsa (E) (X15, 2014+)
Sometimes called the ‘Corsa E’.
Vauxhall Corsa-E (for electric) ( F) (2019+)

That’s the 318i of my work colleague who also have a 306 Rolland Garros (don’t remember which phase, there are 3 or 4 different with at least 2 or 3 different green paint ) and a Mercedes van from the early 90s (or maybe i t’s late 80s) that he modified as a camper ; he also have at the moment an A6 with a head gasket that he has been repairing (he started more than 6 months ago) that i might end up with at some point .

You don’t have orange electric cable out there?
If it’s about the Opel, you might have the e-208 that is it’s sister.

Opel last sold here in 2013.
i’m not sure the e-208 is sold here.
as for orange cables (which you can barely see in the pic) not sure if orange here, as i think Tesla’s are black.

With the spoiler I was hoping it was something like a 320is.

No , but the car is in very good condition in a nice metallic dark grey with velours interior and he pu the optional BBS wheels that he got repainted.
And just in case it would be something unusual in your parts, it’s a manual.

Not sure what the split is, but the manual uptake on US spec E30s was decently high. An auto was even a cost option on the E90s.

Ah, so there was never a Vauxhall Corsa-E (E).

No. The new Corsa has an electric option, but the previous gen didn’t.
But the previous gen came with a great option. The Flexfix intergrated bike rack.
It was an option on the Adam, Corsa, Astra, Mokka (your Buick Encore) , Meriva and Zafira.
That pivoted down 45 degrees so you could still get into the boot area with the bikes loaded,

That’s a novel take on a bike rack. We never had it here on the Encore (ugh). Is it still pretty much the same as the new one since GM sold Opel or are they separate now?

I don’t see any orange cable.....
Have I gone color blind?
I know I’m getting older by the minute, but I did pass an eye exam yesterday.
What gives?

It is going to be replaced in 2021 with an all new model based on the PSA platform (it will be the cousin of the Peugeot 2008) and will have an electric version and it will be up to 120Kg lighter to the current version.
While i don’t like the black/white paint, it definitely won’t be a bland looking car anymore.

GM made it slightly less dopey looking for their independent effort. That’s it. Sigh. GM, don’t ya know?
EDIT: Picture got Kinja’d. Just look it up.
I wish we got the Mokka. That’s a sharp looking crossover. The front kind of reminds me of the Nissan IDx in all the best ways. I also like the seats and interior. That’s a sharp looking dash with some fun accent colors. I would have to see the roofline orange accent in person to judge it but I don’t hate it.

In 2016-7 the Vauxhall Mokka became the Vauxhall Mokka X and looked like yours and was discontinued here in the U.K. in 2019 (along with the Insignia estate* , except in mainland Europe).
* We can still buy the Insignia liftback/hatchback. I guess the estate wasn’t a big enough seller to keep making them in RHD.
The all new Vauxhall Mokka will be coming out soon (early 2012) here in the U.K. and orders are being taken for them in mainland Europe.
It’s based on PSA Group’s EMP1, it shares with the new Peugeor 208 and Citroen DS3 Crossback.

I like DS’s front end treatment there but that weird beltline kink doesn’t work for me. Oddly enough it’s been Peugeot that’s been knocking it out of the park with styling and design, at least from my vantage point on the other side of the Atlantic. I really hope we end up getting them over here like they said. Overall, I think the French brands have been doing well on the style front.

The kink worked on the original DS3 three door hatchback.
But definitely not on a five door SUV with the kink being in the B pillar.
The DSs’ often look good, but some, not so much.
The new DS9 looks good, but maybe too much chrome styling and accents around the place make it look too busy.

Yeah, I think DS should have confined the kink to two doors only. Perhaps they could have moved it back to the C pillar for four doors and kept the more structural elements black to do that whole floating roof thing.
Ooh, I do like the DS9. It’s different in most of the right ways.
The proportions recall classic FWD proportions, which I assume this is. It doesn’t try to look like another Audi, well, from the rear and sides at least. It’s got that swept forward look that tells you the rear wheels aren’t powered (unless AWD?) and that’s OK. It reminds me just a bit of the Citroen C6 and oddly the VW CC / Arteon.
And it has the top mounted turn signals, nice. Though I think they could be better integrated. Perhaps do a Kia Optima-like accent piece running along the rooflline to terminate at the signal housing?
Though I definitely feel that it should have left the lower brake vents and got rid of the central cooling opening down there. Though that opening is where most of the cooling comes from anyways so maybe just make the whole dividing line wider?

These are not turn signals but DRL as it’s not legal in Europe to have turn signal so high.
There also will be a 4 wheel drive hybrid wit h 360hp.
I also quite like the interior except the bottom of the steering wheel and the “ not square” center screen looks a bit odd :

Ooh, sort of a coral color with interesting geometric designs on the seats. That's really something. I like it. Very much so. It's a novel take on a luxury car.

I would say that the color is more like burgundy red (whose color translation in French is... “rouge B ordeaux” except in Quebec which seems to call it “rouge B ourgogne” ) as the daylight pictures looks overexposed.
The seats style is called “bracelet de montre” (watch bracelet ) and has been used for years at DS and i also like it.
If it’s like for the DS7, there will be different interior “ inspirations ” like those (most of them exist in multiple colors and the performance line can have A lcantara or N appa leather seats) :

I really like the resurgence in interior color options. For a while it was pretty slim pickings.
